Terms & Conditions
By requesting an estimate, scheduling services, or allowing work to begin, the customer agrees to the following terms.
1. Scope of Work
All estimates are based on visible pavement conditions at the time of inspection. If additional damage, structural failure, or unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project, additional repairs may be recommended and quoted separately.
2. Surface Preparation
Proper cleaning and preparation are required for asphalt maintenance services. The customer agrees to ensure vehicles, obstacles, and debris are removed from the work area prior to service.
3. Weather Conditions
Sealcoating, crack sealing, and striping are weather-dependent services. Cornerstone Asphalt Solutions reserves the right to reschedule services due to rain, temperature, humidity, or other conditions that could affect material performance.
4. Pavement Condition Disclaimer
Asphalt maintenance improves appearance and helps protect pavement but does not repair structural base failure, drainage problems, or underlying ground movement. Existing pavement conditions may continue to deteriorate over time.
5. Property Protection
While every effort is made to protect surrounding areas, asphalt sealants and paints can stain surfaces. Cornerstone Asphalt Solutions is not responsible for staining or damage to vehicles, landscaping, or property left within the work zone.
6. Cure Time
Sealcoating requires time to cure. Customers must keep all vehicles, foot traffic, and objects off treated surfaces for the recommended curing period provided at the time of service.
7. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Late payments may be subject to additional fees or collection actions.
8. Warranty Disclaimer
Due to environmental conditions, traffic patterns, and pavement age, no guarantee is made regarding the lifespan of asphalt maintenance services unless specifically stated in writing.
9. Limitation of Liability
Cornerstone Asphalt Solutions shall not be liable for damages resulting from pre-existing pavement conditions, structural failure, improper drainage, ground movement, or normal wear and tear.
10. Acceptance of Terms
Approval of an estimate, scheduling of service, or allowing work to begin constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
